Meaty Juicy Macaroni Soup

Cold rainy day? Try our healthy meaty juicy macaroni soup. 🙂 A simple, rich, and tasty soup that will surely get rid of winter chills.


  • 4 pcs meaty juicy hotdog (sliced)
  • ½ lb elbow macaroni
  • 2 stalks celery, minced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, minced
  • ½ head small cabbage, sliced
  • 1 large carrot, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cups water
  • 1½ cup fresh milk or 1 (14 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 4 tablespoon of canola oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Heat canola oil in a large soup pot. Sauté the onion until it turns medium brown. Add hotdog, celery, and carrot. Continue to sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Quickly stir and then pour 4 cups of chicken broth. Also pour the 4 cups of water. Let boil.
  3. Cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Put the elbow macaroni in the pot. Cook for 10 minutes. Add the cabbage. Stir and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Note: you can add more water if needed.
  5. Pour the evaporated milk. Stir, let boil, cover and cook for another 3 minutes.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
